Stitches From The Heart
This quilt is my pride & joy. 15 friends & I contributed
blocks in an exchange where we all made a block for each person. I then added 5 more blocks plus the large center medallian.
Friends, & friends of friends were from 4 different states. The idea for this project began in the fall of 1998,
and I completed mine in October 2001. Several others have also been completed. My quilt was machine quilted by
Laurie Sheeley of Parkman, Wyoming. She is one of the ladies who participated in the exchange. Included in the
quilting are the names of each of the ladies, the city & state they are from, and many sayings about friendship.

Out Of The Comfort Zone
This was a mystery quilt project hosted by Janet Hoxie (of
Sew Unique - www.sewunique.com) I named it this because working with all those different fabrics is really
out of my comfort zone, but I am very happy with the results.

Chicken Linen
Laurie, Julia, Robin & I got together and made our feedsack quilts
using old feedsacks that were given to Laurie. It was so nice of her to share! All the prints are feed sacks &
some of the off white is too. I hand quilted this queen size quilt, so needless to say, it took a while. But now
it is done & I love it!

Boys Rule!
Darrion and his sister Mackenzy argue over who rules, boys or girls.
He is 8 & she is 3, and he likes to tell her "boys rule, girls drool," and she says "girls rule, boys drool," but sometimes
she gets mixed up. So, this quilt for Darrion says "Boys rule" all around the border. I am learning free motion
quilting, and writing words is the easiest thing for me.

Raggedy Ann & Andy was the theme of one of my
co-workers used for her twins' room. I made this for her.

Garden Memories
For my mother's 90th birthday. I free motion quilted it with
my Bernina 830. There are leaves in the border and flowers in the squares. She loved it!
