Hello, my name is Carol Kolf, and I want to welcome you to my
web site! I have been doing some exciting projects in the quilting world. Most recently, my quilt, "Anniversary
Rose" was chosen for First Place, Best Use of Sulky Threads in the Hoffman Challenge. It will travel all over the country
and be shown at quilt shows. It will be returned to me in one year.
Here I am at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival where all of the Hoffman Challenge Quilts are shown
for the first time. It is the only time all of the travelling and winning quilts are shown together.
The first place prize was $1000 of Sulky products. This is the assortment they sent
me. Among other things, there were127 spools of thread!
